A massive dust storm is heading towards the Levant.

The latest satellite images from Arab Weather and dust monitoring maps indicate the positioning of a dense dust wave over large parts of Egyptian lands, with expectations that it will gradually move towards the Levant and Jordan during the coming hours, and that its effects will continue during Saturday.

This wave is expected to lead to a significant increase in the levels of dust and airborne particles, which will cause the atmosphere to become noticeably dusty in several areas, with reduced horizontal visibility, especially in open areas and on highways.

Patients with respiratory and eye conditions are advised to take the necessary precautions, close windows, and avoid leaving their homes except when absolutely necessary, in addition to wearing masks when they have to be outside.
