موقع طقس العرب - قال بروك لونج رئيس الوكالة الاتحادية الأمريكية لإدارة الطوارئ يوم الجمعة إن المسؤولين يجرون استعدادات ضخمة لمواجهة الإعصار إرما المتوقع أن يصل إلى ولاية فلوريدا يوم السبت.

 

وقال لونج في إفادة صحفية ”الإعصار إرما ما زال يشكل تهديدا وسينشر الدمار في الولايات المتحدة سواء في فلوريدا أو بعض الولايات في جنوب شرق البلاد“.

 

وحذر من احتمال انقطاع التيار الكهربائي عن أجزاء من ولاية فلوريدا لعدة أيام إن لم يكن أكثر مشيرا إلى أن ما يزيد على 100 ألف شحص ربما يحتاجون إلى مأوى.
