Arab Weather - The latest satellite images and global monitoring centers indicate the presence of a tropical depression in the middle of the Arabian Sea, and it continues to move westward towards the coasts of the southern Arabian Peninsula, accompanied by quantities of cumulus clouds, with expectations that it will gradually rush to the Sultanate during the coming hours and continue to affect for several days.

Places where thunderstorms are likely to occur in the Sultanate in the coming days

Computer forecasts at the Arab Weather Center indicate that clouds will flow at different heights on Tuesday and Wednesday over most of the Sultanate’s governorates, accompanied by cumulus clouds that will lead to rainfall of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms, which will lead to the flow of valleys and ravines.

The same computer maps show that cumulonimbus clouds are expected to be strong in the northeastern regions and east of Muscat, leading to heavy rains in those areas with the possibility of floods.

The peak of the weather condition will decrease in the Sultanate on Thursday, with the continued impact of the remaining moisture resulting from the low pressure system, which will lead to the continuation of scattered rain in some areas, God willing.
