Jordan | Khamasin weather increases dust concentration in the atmosphere, and thunderstorms are observed by satellite images in southern Palestine and the Dead Sea.

Arab Weather - The Kingdom has been affected since Sunday morning by a Khamaseen depression accompanied by a warmer-than-usual air mass. Large parts of the Kingdom are currently experiencing reduced horizontal visibility due to rising dust levels, which are expected to increase in density over the coming hours.

Meanwhile, the latest satellite images show the development of cumulus clouds over the southern parts of the occupied Palestinian territories, including the Dead Sea area, accompanied by limited localized showers and active surface winds.

The Arab Weather app recommends the following:

• Avoid going out for long periods, especially for the elderly and those with respiratory and asthma conditions.
• Wear medical masks to prevent inhaling dust.
• Close windows and doors tightly inside homes and buildings to maintain indoor air quality.
• Use caution while driving due to poor visibility.
