Jordan | Awqaf calls for Friday prayer for rain

<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr">Arab Weather - The Ministry of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places called on citizens to perform raindrops next Friday.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The ministry said in a statement issued today, Wednesday, that the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Holy Places, Dr. Muhammad Al-Khalayleh, circulated to the directors of endowments in the Kingdom, imams and preachers to perform rain prayers after Friday prayers, due to the rainy season.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Al-Khalayleh urged citizens to prepare for this prayer by repentance and seeking forgiveness, and to work to reform the relationship, following the honorable Sunnah of the Prophet in such circumstances.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> He also called on worshipers to adhere to the health procedures followed and physical distancing.</p>
