Jordan | Eastern winds rush towards the Kingdom in the middle and end of the week, and successive drops in temperatures are expected

Arab Weather - The latest weather maps in "Arab Weather" indicate that a relatively cold air mass will rush towards the region in the middle and end of this week, coinciding with the rush of eastern winds towards the Kingdom and a clear drop in temperatures.

In detail: Weather forecasters said that the latest numerical model forecasts indicate that an autumn air mass will rush towards the eastern Mediterranean basin region next Tuesday , resulting from the concentration of a cold, polar air mass over southeastern Europe.

The cold air mass is centered to the east of the region and coincides with the rush of dry easterly winds.

According to current data, the cold air mass is expected to rush east of the Kingdom with a dry axis, so the extension of this mass towards the Kingdom is not expected to be accompanied by rainfall. On the contrary, the rush of the cold upper trough is expected to coincide with the centering of a surface high in the southeast of the European continent, pushing easterly winds towards the Kingdom in the middle and end of this week, which will increase the feeling of coldness, especially at night and in the early morning hours.

Weather forecasters at Arab Weather said that temperatures will drop significantly next Tuesday and at the end of the week, and it is expected that the maximum tangible temperature in the capital Amman will be between 21-24 degrees Celsius amidst a cool atmosphere, while the minimum will drop to less than 10 degrees in some areas, especially the mountainous heights and eastern plains, while the feeling of cold is expected to increase due to the activity of the eastern winds with a tangible temperature that may be less than 6 degrees Celsius in large parts of the Kingdom during the night, dawn and early morning hours.
