Jordan | The cold wave reaches its peak tonight, with temperatures approaching zero degrees Celsius in several areas.

Weather experts at Arab Weather expect the Kingdom to be affected tonight, God willing, by the peak of the cold wave, as a very cold air mass rushes towards the Kingdom, leading to a sharp and significant drop in temperatures, reaching very low levels approaching the zero Celsius barrier in some areas.

The latest analysis from the weather forecasting team at Arab Weather indicates that the feeling of cold will increase significantly tonight, especially during the Isha and Taraweeh prayers. Minimum temperatures in the mountains are expected to range between 1 and 3 degrees Celsius during the early morning hours, while they may drop to near zero degrees Celsius in parts of the eastern desert, with a chance of frost in several areas of the Kingdom.

As for the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba regions, the weather will be noticeably cold, with minimum temperatures reaching between 7 and 10 degrees Celsius during the early morning hours of Monday.

• Beware of frost formation, especially in the desert areas, the eastern plains, and the peaks of the mountain highlands.
