Weather of Arabia - Citizens in Wadi Al-Seer in the capital, Amman, reported that an explosion had occurred in one of the water springs near “Bustan Awad” . This incident caused concern among citizens due to fears of a strong rush of water toward homes.

Faisal Abu Al-Sundos told the media that the amount of water running in the streets resulting from the explosion of the water spring is estimated at about 1,000 cubic meters per hour, according to statements by Jihad Al-Mahamid, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Water, who visited the site.

Abu Al-Sundos warned that if Ain Al-Kursi continues to be closed, water may flow towards neighboring buildings, leading to their demolition, due to the huge amount of water. He confirmed the existence of buildings that are not prepared to face this type of danger.

He pointed out that the solution lies in reopening the Al-Kursi spring, which has been providing water to the region for centuries, and that closing it with cement is the cause of the problem.
