<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr">Weather of Arabia - Omani Meteorology issued Alert No. (5) of the heavy rain expected today, due to the heavy thunderstorms that are likely to fall during the noon and evening periods, which are concentrated in the governorates of South Al Sharqiyah, North Sharqiyah and parts of the governorates of Muscat, Al Dakhiliyah and Al Wusta, which may range from 20 to 75 mm</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The Civil Aviation Authority calls on everyone to take precautions and caution during thunderstorms, not to cross valleys, avoid low places, and not go to the sea during the alert period.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Alerts:</p><ul style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"><li style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Heavy rains, ranging from 20-75 mm, lead to runoff of valleys and reefs</li><li style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Active downward winds, with speeds ranging between 15 and 35 knots (28-64 km/h).</li><li style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Decreased horizontal visibility due to rising dust during thunderstorms </li></ul><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"><img alt="" src="/sites/default/files/uploads-2020/omanmeteorology-22-4-2023.jpg" style="width: 848px; height: 1200px;" /></p>
