موقع ArabiaWeather.com- دعت إدارة الإعلام والتثقيف الوقائي في المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني المواطنين الى أخذ الحيطة والحذر خلال الظروف الجوية السائدة وذلك بالابتعاد عن جوانب الأودية وأماكن تشكل السيول والانتقال إلى الأماكن المرتفعة والأكثر أماناً تجنباً لمداهمة المياه لهذه المناطق في حال ارتفاع منسوبها وتثبيت الأجسام القابلة للتطاير من على أسطح المباني نتيجةً لسرعة الرياح .
وشددت على سائقي المركبات على توخي الحيطة والحذر والتأني في أثناء القيادة والتقيد بتعليمات وقواعد السير الآمن على الطرقات وبخاصة الطرق الصحراوية في جنوب وشرق المملكة التي تشهد غباراً كثيفاً ومحدودية الرؤية الأفقية .
كما دعت المديرية المواطنين إلى عدم التردد بالاتصال بغرف عمليات الدفاع المدني على هاتف الطوارئ الموحد 911 في مختلف أنحـاء المملكـة ، إذا دعت الحاجة لذلك .
