The reason for the emergence of this state of air instability is due to the approaching of an air depression in the eastern Mediterranean, where a warm air front is pushing in front of it at an altitude of temperatures on Sunday and Monday in the northwest of the Kingdom, in addition to the emergence of a state of air instability.

A state of air instability develops midweek in the middle of the sea on Sunday

Because of the air depression in the eastern Mediterranean, a cold air mass crosses the north of the Red Sea and the north of the Kingdom in the middle of the week, in conjunction with the blowing of moist southern winds on the south and central Red Sea, these weather factors will develop a state of air instability as of Tuesday and continue until the end of the week.

The opportunities for rain that accompany the mid-week weather instability include the cities of Jeddah and Yanbu, where the opportunity is ripe for thunderstorms of rain.

The southwestern region remains under the influence of cumulonimbus thunder formations during the current week, and thunderstorms of rain fall on a daily basis on the coasts of Jizan and Asir, being light in intensity in general, with some heavy foci.
