Saudi Arabia: Last summer 2022 was hotter in the Kingdom than this summer so far, and the highest temperature recorded was 51 Celsius

Weather of Arabia - Although temperatures are higher than their usual rates in most regions of Saudi Arabia since the beginning of summer, the data received from the manned and automatic stations deployed indicate that the current summer 2023 is less hot than last summer in the Kingdom.

• Temperatures approached 50 degrees Celsius this summer in several Saudi governorates and cities, which are (Al-Ahsa, Dammam, Qaisumah, Arar, Sakaka, Sharouri, Rafha, Wadi Al-Dawasir, Riyadh, Al-Ala).

• The highest temperature recorded in the Kingdom this summer (so far) was in Al-Ahsa by 51 degrees Celsius, and the monitoring station in Dammam recorded 50 degrees Celsius, on Tuesday 7-18-2023.

  The southwestern highlands witnessed moderate temperatures close to their usual levels, and the minimum temperature decreased to less than 18 degrees Celsius in many of the highlands.

July and August are the hottest months of the year in the Kingdom, especially the period from July 20 to August 10.
