Weather of Arabia - The Supreme Court called for investigating the sighting of the crescent of the blessed month of Ramadan on Friday evening, corresponding to the twenty-ninth of the month of Shaaban, according to the Umm al-Qura calendar, and informing the nearest court of those who see it with the naked eye or through binoculars, and recording his testimony to it, or contacting the nearest center to help him reach the nearest Court.

This was stated in an announcement by the Supreme Court, which reads as follows:

Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and all his family and companions, and after:

In view of what was included in Supreme Court Decision No. 155 / AH, dated 7/30/1443, that Thursday 7/30/1443, according to the Umm Al-Qura calendar corresponding to 6/3/2022, is the completion of the month of Rajab for the year 1443 thirty days, and that Friday 08/1443/ 1 According to the Umm al-Qura calendar, corresponding to 3/04/2022, it is the first of the month of Sha’ban in the year 1443.

Based on the above orders and instructions, and following the guidance of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, the Supreme Court of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia wishes to all Muslims in all parts of Saudi Arabia to investigate the sighting of the crescent of the blessed month of Ramadan on the evening of Friday, the twenty-ninth of the month of Sha’ban according to the calendar Umm Al-Qura corresponding to 4/1/2022.

The Supreme Court requests whoever sees it with the naked eye or through binoculars to inform the nearest court to him and to record his testimony there, or to contact the nearest center to help him reach the nearest court.
