In view of what was included in Supreme Court Resolution No. 8 / 1443 AH - according to the Umm al-Qura calendar - corresponding to 3/4 / 2022 AD is the first of the month of Sha’ban for the year 1443 AH, and based on it and on the previous orders and instructions, and following the guidance of the Messenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him -; The Supreme Court of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia desires to all Muslims throughout the Kingdom, to investigate the sighting of the crescent of the blessed month of Ramadan on the evening of Friday the twenty-ninth of the month of Sha’ban – according to the Umm Al-Qura calendar – corresponding to 4/1/2022 AD.

 

The Supreme Court requests whoever sees it with the naked eye or with endoscopes to inform the nearest court to him, to record his testimony there, or to contact the nearest center to help him reach the nearest court.
