Arab Weather - Cumulus clouds are expected to increase over the highlands of the southwest of the Kingdom on Friday , coinciding with the afternoon and evening hours, when the chance of thunderstorms is ripe, which may be heavy at times and accompanied by hail showers and significant lightning activity.

Rain is expected to cover the highlands of Jazan and Asir. This weather condition falls within the seasonal pattern typical of the summer months, resulting from the influx of tropical moisture toward the mountains of the southwest of the Kingdom. This topographical factors lead to the formation of strong cumulus clouds, especially during the afternoons, when the surface layers are hot and humid.

It warns of the possibility of flash floods in some valleys and ravines due to heavy rainfall in certain geographical areas. It is also recommended to exercise caution during thunderstorms due to the lightning and sudden strong winds that may accompany them.
