Arabia Weather - The latest aerial map outputs from the Arabia Weather Center indicate that several parts of the eastern European continent, including Turkey, were affected by the rush of a very cold air mass, “polar in origin,” on Sunday and Monday.

Satellite images at these moments show the depression being centered to the west of Turkey, with pressure values as low as 980 millibars in the center, before it moves in the coming hours and on Sunday to be centered over the Black Sea with very low pressure values, expected to reach less than 970 millibars in the middle. The center of the depression, which are very low and semi-cyclonic values, will lead to strong wind gusts that may reach more than 140 km/h in some gusts.

According to the latest weather data from the Arab Weather Center, a very cold, polar air mass is rushing behind the depression, which, God willing, will work on an additional deepening of the depression as it moves towards the northeast to be centered in northern Turkey and the Black Sea tomorrow, Sunday, and a very cold air front will cross with it. It causes a significant drop in temperatures and a significant increase in wind speeds, as wind gusts are expected to exceed the 100 km/h barrier in some areas of Turkey.

With the beginning of the cold air front crossing tonight and Sunday, rain is expected to intensify in Greece, Bulgaria, Turkey, Macedonia, and parts of Ukraine. Snowfall is also expected to decrease to low levels in Bulgaria, northern Greece, Macedonia, southern Ukraine, and Turkey.

On Monday, parts of eastern Europe and Turkey continue to be affected by the depression, and rain continues to fall in many regions, including Turkey, Ukraine, and Georgia. Snow is also falling in parts of Ukraine, Turkey, and Georgia, and is heavy in eastern Turkey, Georgia, and eastern Ukraine.
