Cold nights are gradually returning to the Kingdom starting Monday, with a warning of increased chances of catching a cold and the flu.
Arab Weather - The Kingdom is currently experiencing moderate to warm weather during the night hours, suitable for outdoor sessions, as minimum temperatures in the capital, Amman, ranged between 20 and 23 degrees Celsius. The weather is expected to remain moderate during the coming night and until Sunday/Monday night, before beginning a gradual decline to become colder levels during the second half of the week.
Moderate weather continues tonight and Sunday/Monday night, while it will be warm in the Jordan Valley.
Initially, nighttime temperatures are expected to remain above their usual averages until Sunday/Monday night. Weather will be moderate in the western regions and eastern plains of the Kingdom, while warm in the rest of the Kingdom, especially during the early night hours. The weather will be suitable for outdoor gatherings and activities in various regions.
Night temperatures will begin to drop starting Monday, culminating in cold weather on Thursday/Friday night.
Computer simulations from the Arab Weather Center, particularly those showing the path and behavior of temperatures, indicate a gradual decline in nighttime temperatures, starting Monday/Tuesday night, increasing to reach its peak Thursday/Friday night, as the Kingdom is affected by an air mass that is cooler and more humid than its predecessor.
God willing, cold weather is expected to return to the Kingdom's atmosphere during the late nights and early mornings, after the cold weather had disappeared from the atmosphere at night recently. Relatively cold to cold weather is expected to prevail in various regions of the Kingdom, with minimum temperatures around 11-14 degrees Celsius in large areas of the Kingdom, and even lower than that over the mountain peaks, coinciding with an increase in surface humidity levels.
Weather calls for warmer clothing during outdoor activities at night and dawn in the second half of the week.
The Arab Weather Center's weather forecasting team recommends wearing warmer clothing when engaging in outdoor activities during the second half of the week, as the weather will be cold. This will require returning to wearing coats at night and early morning, and paying special attention to children's clothing to avoid catching a cold.
And God knows best.
