Heavy rains and thunderstorms affect the districts of the capital, Aden

The rain water has impeded the movement of traffic and the passage of citizens, while the city suffers from worn out roads and rainwater drainage systems.
The electricity service was cut off in the districts of the capital, Aden, to coincide with the rains.

This resulted in loss of life and property, and some houses were damaged due to the torrential rains in the districts of the temporary capital of Aden this morning in light of the control of the transitional council over the city and its expulsion of the legitimate government and the disruption of its activities since last August.

Citizens in the governorate of Aden demanded the speedy removal of rain water, given the material damage it left on the roads, homes and cars of citizens.

And large parts of the streets turned into lakes that need to be denied to extract water from them, explaining that leaving the water to evaporate may require several days.

Stressing that the water closes the doors of some complexes and homes and prevents some worshipers from walking on their feet to perform the prayers in the mosque on their street, especially in the difficult health conditions the city is going through.
