Areas covered by rain forecast for Thursday

In detail, the latest computer modeling outputs indicate that the weather since the morning hours of Thursday will be partly cloudy to cloudy in large areas of central and northern Riyadh, parts of the Eastern Province and Hail, and showers of varying intensity of rain are expected, accompanied by lightning, thunder and active downward winds, and hail showers are not excluded in some areas.

Heavy thunderstorms and possible floods in parts of the northern border and Al-Jawf

As we advance into the late morning hours and until noon, the rain showers continue in the same areas, and cumulonimbus clouds multiply in the skies of Hafar Al-Batin, the northern borders, and Al-Jawf, reaching as far as Hail, and showers of rain fall, after God’s will, at intervals, and it is expected that they will intensify to become heavy to very heavy at times during the evening and night hours, accompanied by heavy and accumulated showers of hail, which increases the possibility of valleys flowing and the formation of torrents and transferred torrents in those areas.

Snow expected on Mount Al-Lawz

Arab Weather experts are monitoring the possibility of snow showers on Mount Al Lawz in the Tabuk region during the day on Thursday, which will turn into snow showers at night and continue until Friday morning. As time passes, the chances of rain will weaken, and the weather will stabilize during the night hours, and the chances of snow will disappear.
