Road Condition Update (3:00 pm): Public Security reveals the state of the roads until 3:00 pm

Arab Weather - The Public Security Directorate announced the state of the roads in the Kingdom until 3 pm today, as follows:

Capital Territory:

All areas of the capital Amman are witnessing snowfall, all main roads are open with great caution and most of the secondary roads are closed and work is underway to open them

North Territory:
All main roads in the North region are traversed with extreme caution, and work is underway to open some secondary roads in the governorate of Ajloun and Jerash, and the Zamalia road towards the Jordan Valley has been closed as a precaution.

Central region:
All roads pass with caution within the Central Region, except for:

• Moon Valley Road closed due to high water level

Southern Province:

• Karak Governorate: All roads are open with great caution
• Tafila Governorate: All roads are traversed with extreme caution, except for the Sherif Al-Janoub Road towards Busayrah, which is closed as a precaution.
• Ma'an Governorate: All roads are open with great caution

Petra Province: All roads are open with great caution

Northern and Southern Badia regions: All roads are open with caution

Central Badia: All roads are open with caution

The Directorate called on citizens to take caution and use public safety means while driving, avoid leaving homes except for the utmost necessity, and to stay away from low-lying areas and torrential streams, and to comply with the instructions of the public security men deployed on the roads to guide and assist them.

She stressed the need to follow the preventive behavior in dealing with heating devices, and to call the unified emergency number (911) or the (911 security) application in case of needing any assistance or reporting a complaint.
