Despite approaching midday.. dense fog in several areas of the eastern plains, including Amman Civil Airport

Arab Weather - The latest satellite images and reports issued by Amman Civil Airport indicate that dense fog continues in large parts of the eastern plains and parts of the Badia, despite the approach of midday due to the ground being saturated with dense moisture after the recent rains.

Heavy fog covers many parts of eastern Amman including the Queen Alia International Airport area and is concentrated in the Marka area including Amman Civil Airport, where visibility is reported to drop to only 300 meters in the coming hours. It is advised to drive with extreme caution when fog forms due to low or even no horizontal visibility in some areas, especially on open roads.

It also issues special warnings to travelers and those returning from travel to be aware of the danger of dense fog and to drive with extreme caution on the roads.

When will the fog end?

In the coming hours, the fog is expected to begin to dissipate and disappear, as horizontal visibility gradually improves.
