من جانبه أكد م. ودي تركي وكيل الخدمات في أمانة الحدود الشمالية بأن الأمانة استعدت لمواجهة الأمطار بأربع فرق ميدانية، وباشرت عدد من الأماكن المغمورة من مياه الأمطار على طريق الشمال الدولي قرب مستشفى الأمير عبد العزيز بن مساعد، كما باشرت سحب المياه التي غمرت بوابة إسكان قوى الأمن الداخلي في عرعر.
