مردّ هذه التغيّرات هي انخفاض حاد في الضغط الجوي شرقي المملكة، بالتزامن مع تقدّم تيارات شمالية غربية بحرية رطبة مع ساعات المساء.

 

ويتوقع أن تنشط الرياح الإثنين على مرحلتين: الأولى ستكون شرقية الاتجاه في المنطقة الشرقية من البلاد وستعمل على سيادة أجواء حارة وجافة وإثارة الغبار والأتربة، ومُجدداً مع ساعات العصر تنشط الرياح الغربية-الشمالية الغربية بدءاً من المدن الأردنية لتطال لاحقاً الباديتين الجنوبية والشرقية.

 

وتشير المُعطيات إلى تجاوز مُعدّل سرعة الرياح حاجز الـ35كم/ساعة في الجبال والبادية، وإحتمالية وصول هباتها في الأخيرة سيّما في محافظتي الزرقاء والمفرق إلى 70كم/ساعة وهذه السرعة في فصل الصيف كفيلة بإثارة الغبار والأتربة بشكل لافت وربما تدني مدى الرؤية الأفقية على فترات حتى ساعات مُنتصف ليلة الإثنين/الثلاثاء طوال المنطقة الممتدة من الأزرق وحتى الحدود مع العراق، وبشكل أقل الطريق الصحراوي المؤدي إلى السعودية عبر معبر العمري.
