Anjara: The collapse of large parts of the Islamic cemetery wall

<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"><strong>Arab Weather</strong> - Large parts of the wall of the Islamic cemetery in Anjara, today, Friday, were collapsed due to the accumulation of snow and heavy rain due to the prevailing weather conditions.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"><br /> The head of the Greater Ajloun municipality, Engineer Hassan Al-Zaghoul, told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that the saturation of the area with rain and snow led to its collapse and the flow of water into the cemetery.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"><br /> He pointed out that the municipality cadres worked to divert water outside the cemetery to prevent the erosion of the soil and remove stones in order to avoid the occurrence of flash floods as a temporary measure, indicating that the current situation will be studied in order to make a retaining wall after the depression.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"><br /> And he indicated that the municipality continues to implement the works of cleaning the ferries and drainage streams in order to ensure that no floods occur and to preserve the safety of road users.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Source: Petra News Agency</p>
