Clouds and dark clouds after midnight and early morning... Will summer rain fall in the Levant?

Arab Weather - The Levant and Egypt will increasingly be affected by a less hot maritime air mass during the coming night hours. Therefore, surface humidity levels will rise significantly in all regions of the Levant, especially the coastal ones, including the Gaza Strip. As a result, large amounts of low clouds will multiply, especially over the highlands. These clouds will appear clear and distinct during the early morning hours of Sunday, appearing heavy and dark as if it is raining.

But the question is: Does it rain? The clear answer is: No.

Why? The main reason, according to weather forecasters at the Arab Weather Center, is that the vertical growth of these clouds in the middle and upper layers of the atmosphere is sufficient—God willing—to cause rain to fall from the clouds. Vertical growth of these clouds is absent due to the presence of an extension of an upper high pressure system that strongly hinders their growth.

On the other hand, these clouds are formed as a result of very high humidity levels, sometimes reaching saturation levels, in the layers close to the Earth's surface. This leads to the condensation of dew on the Earth's surface, while condensation occurs in the form of clouds in the higher layers.

However, due to the density of these clouds, it is not unlikely that local drizzle will fall for a limited and brief period on Sunday morning in parts of the highlands of the Levant coast.
