Another tragic night in the Gaza Strip under heavy rain and bitter cold

Arab Weather - A harsh night is being experienced by the residents of the besieged Gaza Strip, as the Strip is exposed to successive waves of thunderstorms and heavy rains within a few hours, resulting from a low-pressure system centered to the southeast of the island of Cyprus, which pushed large quantities of rainy thunderclouds towards the Strip.

The latest satellite images and analyses by the weather forecast team at the Arab Weather Center indicate that rain clouds will continue to flow from the Mediterranean Sea towards the Gaza Strip during the dawn and morning hours of Tuesday, accompanied by more moderate and heavy rain.

The bitter cold, heavy rains and strong winds that the Gaza Strip has been exposed to in recent days have resulted in the death of at least 5 children, whose bodies froze from the severe cold, while rainwater has flooded the tents of the displaced, warning of the loss of more lives as a result of the aggression and forced displacement that the residents of the Strip are being subjected to.
