When does summer time start in Jordan for 2022?

Arab weather - With the end of the winter season in Jordan approaching, the date for changing the clock and the start of summer time is approaching, and this year is the first to adopt the Jordanian government's decision to change the clock to summer time at the end of February, instead of the end of March.

The following is the date for the start of summer time in Jordan for this year 2022

When does daylight saving time start in Jordan for 2022

It is expected that summer time will begin in the Kingdom this year, starting from the dawn of Friday (25) of February , by advancing the clock by 60 minutes at 12 midnight, according to the amendment approved by the Council of Ministers .

Summer time will continue for this year (2022), approximately 8 months, until work returns to winter time, by delaying the clock by 60 minutes, starting from midnight on the last Thursday of October of each year.

The switch between the summer and winter time systems comes in implementation of the Cabinet decision taken in 2013, which stipulates that winter time will start working on the last Friday in October of each year.
