Arab Weather - Weather forecasters at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that the latest computer outputs indicate the formation of a desert low pressure system on Sunday in the eastern Algerian desert, which will deepen on Monday as it moves eastward, accompanied by a warm air mass, and will affect central and southern Algeria. Therefore, temperatures will rise, especially in the interior and coastal areas, and the weather will be warm and dusty, as the desert low pressure system causes active winds accompanied by strong gusts of up to 100 km/h, and will cause dust storms, especially in eastern and southeastern Algeria.

The desert depression moves eastward and affects Libya with warm and dusty weather on Tuesday

God willing, the desert depression is expected to move eastward on Tuesday, which means attracting more warm air from the depths of the tropical regions towards Libya, where temperatures will rise, especially in areas away from marine influences. The weather will be warm and dusty in several areas of western Libya, and the winds will be active with strong gusts reaching nearly 60 km/h, stirring up sand.

Unstable weather conditions accompanied by a desert depression and heavy thunderstorms

Experts at the Arab Weather Regional Center indicated that the effects of the desert weather system will be accompanied by unstable weather conditions in western Libya and eastern and central Algeria, God willing, as a result of the approach of a cold air mass in the upper layers of the atmosphere that interacts with the warm air on the surface. What enhances the process of lifting the air is the presence of a desert depression on the surface, where cumulus clouds multiply and heavy thunderstorms fall, which may be accompanied by hail and sudden descending winds, which may cause the formation of torrents and a rise in water levels.
