Arab Weather - God willing, the Arab world is expected to witness a rare astronomical solar phenomenon in 2027, specifically on August 2nd. Several Arab countries will be within the path of the total solar eclipse, including Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, some western cities in Saudi Arabia, and Yemen.
This eclipse is expected to be the longest total eclipse of this century, and may be described as the eclipse of the century for the Middle East. The most prominent areas expected to experience the total eclipse are the southeast of Luxor in Egypt, with the eclipse lasting approximately 6 minutes and 22 seconds. Meanwhile, some cities in Saudi Arabia, such as Jeddah and Mecca, will experience an eclipse lasting between 5 and 6 minutes.
