Arab Weather - The latest readings of computer maps in Arab Weather indicate a renewal of strong, cold, westerly to southwesterly winds across the western sector of Libya, starting from Sunday, with an additional increase in the speed of these winds on Monday.

These weather conditions are leading to the formation of sandstorms in many areas, including the northern, northwestern and western regions of the country, with expectations that the impact of these sandstorms will gradually extend to include wider areas of Libya, including the eastern and northeastern regions, particularly on Tuesday.

Sandstorms are expected to cause a sharp decrease in horizontal visibility, which may reach zero in some areas, potentially impacting traffic and daily life.

Accordingly, it is advised to take the necessary precautions, including closing windows well, avoiding going out of homes for patients with respiratory, allergy and eye conditions, wearing masks when forced to go out, in addition to exercising caution while driving due to the significant decrease in horizontal visibility.
