Classes suspended on Thursday in Karak, Tafila, Petra and the southern Badia due to weather conditions

Due to the current weather conditions, and in order to ensure the safety of our students and colleagues in the educational field, Her Excellency the Director of Education for the Petra District, Dr. Tahani Al-Salamin, in coordination with His Excellency the Governor of the Petra District, Dr. Sattam Al-Majali, has decided to suspend school attendance in the district for tomorrow, Thursday, March 26, 2026.

It was also decided to suspend classes at all schools in the Southern Badia Directorate for tomorrow, Thursday, due to weather conditions.

All education directorates in Karak Governorate have decided to suspend school attendance for all public and private schools tomorrow, Thursday, March 26, 2026, in coordination with the administrative governors, due to the prevailing weather conditions and in order to preserve the safety of students and fellow teachers.

The Director of Education for the Tafila region, Mr. Imran Al-Lasasmeh, in coordination with the Governor of Tafila, Dr. Sultan Al-Madi, decided to suspend classes for tomorrow, Thursday, March 26, 2026, in all public and private schools, due to the prevailing weather conditions and in order to preserve the safety of students and administrative and teaching staff, while the work of the Directorate of Education will remain as usual.
