Closing of the Omani port of Salalah due to Cyclone Tej

<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr">Weather of Arabia - The administration of the Omani Port of Salalah said that it decided to temporarily close the port today, Sunday, as the governorate was affected by Hurricane (Tej) after the meteorology issued a warning about its approach to the coast of the Sultanate of Oman.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Meteorology said that Cyclone Tej is centered southwest of the Arabian Sea, 690 km away from the coast of the Sultanate, and the wind speed at its center is estimated at 64 to 82 knots.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> She added that expectations indicate the direct impact of the hurricane on the Dhofar and Al Wusta governorates on Sunday evening and Monday morning, according to what was reported by the Arab World News Agency.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p>
