“Iraq al-Dub,” located in Wadi al-Rayyan, a valley in the town of Haditha in the Koura district between Irbid and Ajloun governorates in northern Jordan, is considered one of the largest natural caves in Jordan, with an area of approximately (200) square meters. Human settlement in the cave dates back to the Neolithic, Copper Age, and Bronze Age.
The cave has historical, cultural, natural, touristic and sporting importance.
The cave is a unique and ideal tourist attraction for nature and adventure lovers, and it offers opportunities for mountain hiking and exploration.
