Arab Weather - Since the beginning of September, the Kingdom has been affected by a moderate air mass accompanied by the rush of humid marine air currents, which has led to a drop in temperatures, especially at night. The Kingdom has been experiencing normal summer weather during the day and cooler weather at night over the past few days.
In a scene closer to autumn, low clouds appear daily during the night and early morning hours, especially in the north and center of the Kingdom. This is due to the high humidity coming from the sea and accompanying marine air currents, which helps the low clouds to condense, especially over the mountainous heights.
Arab Weather forecasters said that the appearance of low clouds and high humidity levels at this time of year, in early September, could be an indicator of the gradual change in weather patterns in the region and the approaching arrival of autumn. Astronomically speaking, there are less than 20 days left until the start of autumn.
Gradually, as we enter the autumn season, the chances of autumnal and humid air masses arriving towards the Kingdom improve, God willing, especially during the months of October and November, and with them the chances of rainfall gradually increase. However, this does not mean that temperatures will not rise during some periods during the autumn season. This has happened in some years, and the Kingdom has witnessed significant increases in temperatures in September and October. The reason for this is due to the region remaining closer to the influence of high-pressure systems than cold air masses, especially in September. This may lead, in some periods, when colder air masses approach the region, to large temperature differences in a very short period of time.
We ask God Almighty to grant us rain soon.
