Jordan | Karak Public Works Department deals with landslides on the road linking to the Southern Ghor

Arab Weather - The Karak Public Works Directorate's teams dealt today, Friday, with landslides on the Abdaliyeh and Rasis road (the road that connects Karak to the Southern Ghor).

Karak Public Works Director, Engineer Raed Al-Suhaimat, told the Jordanian News Agency (Petra) that the emergency room received a report while working in locations adjacent to the road about soil and rocks being washed away on the Al-Abdaliyah and Al-Rasis road due to the heavy rainfall that the road witnessed. He confirmed that the field teams moved immediately to the mentioned locations and traffic was restored as usual, and the staff are still continuing their work in various areas of Karak Governorate and following up on all observations that come to the operations rooms.
