Arab Weather - Weather experts at Arab Weather expect the Kingdom to remain under the effects of the fourth-degree low-pressure system, according to the Arab Weather scale for the intensity of low-pressure systems, on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. This system brought heavy rain and hail showers to many areas during the night and on Tuesday.
Therefore, the weather will be generally cold in all regions, and very cold in the mountainous areas, especially the high ones, and cloudy and stormy with rain expected, God willing, at intervals in parts of the north, central and eastern parts of the Kingdom, in addition to parts of the governorates of Karak and Tafila and the western highlands of Ma’an, and the rain will be accompanied by hail at times.
Precipitation is expected to take the form of snow showers over the peaks of the Sharah Mountains, including the Rashadiyah and Qadisiyah peaks in the Tafilah Governorate, and the peaks of Shobak, Petra District, Southern Taybeh and the west of Ma’an Governorate, with the possibility of freezing on the peaks of the Sharah Mountains.
Strong winds are blowing across the Sharah Mountains, with some gusts exceeding 110 km/h.
Strong winds are blowing across the Sharah Mountains in southern Saudi Arabia, with gusts expected to exceed 110 km/h, requiring caution and preparedness. Meanwhile, across most regions, westerly winds will be active to strong, with periods of intense gusts.
The Kingdom remains under the influence of the remnants of the cold and humid air mass that settled in the region after the low pressure system moved away from the Kingdom. Accordingly, temperatures will rise slightly but will remain below average by about 2–4 degrees Celsius. The weather will be cold and unsettled, ranging from partly cloudy to generally cloudy, and local showers of rain are expected to continue.
And God knows best.
