Jordan snow | Scenes of rare snow on the first day of spring on Thursday morning 23/3-2022

Arab Weather - With the Kingdom becoming increasingly affected by the third-degree air depression and the accompanying very cold polar air mass, snow fell this Thursday morning over the mountains of Jerash and Ajloun, and extended to parts of the central regions.

It is noteworthy that the presence of snowfall in the second half of March is considered a rare and unusual weather event for this time of the year, meaning that in the last 50 years, the Kingdom has not experienced weather conditions that were accompanied by snowfall in some mountainous heights during the second half of March except In the years 1987, 2003, 2007.
