Arab Weather - Meteorologists at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that the start of summer, from a climate perspective, will be on Sunday, June 1, 2025, based on the climate calendar, which divides the seasons according to monthly temperature averages.
Although summer has begun climatically with the start of June, prevailing weather patterns do not indicate the dominance of extremely hot air masses. On the contrary, data shows that these air masses are moving away from the Kingdom's atmosphere during the first days of June, keeping the weather milder than usual.
According to numerical models at the Arab Weather Center, the Kingdom will be affected by a moderate air mass starting Sunday, with its effects intensifying on Monday and Tuesday, and continuing until Wednesday, God willing.
During this period, temperatures are lower than their usual average for this time of year, by an estimated difference of 2 to 4 degrees Celsius. The weather is moderate across all regions, with highs ranging between 24 and 27 degrees Celsius in cities and highlands, while the weather is hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, where temperatures exceed the mid-thirties Celsius mark.
Moderate northwesterly winds will blow, sometimes active during the afternoon and evening hours, contributing to a milder atmosphere.
During the night hours, the weather is expected to remain relatively cold, particularly in the high mountainous areas and eastern plains, especially during the dawn and early morning hours. Minimum temperatures will reach 12-15 degrees Celsius in some areas, making it essential to wear light coats or warm clothing during the late night hours.
And God knows best.
