Arab Weather - Computer maps at the Arab Weather Center indicate that the Kingdom will be affected, God willing, starting from Thursday and during the weekend, by an extension of what is known as the Red Sea depression, which will lead to a noticeable rise in temperatures and the prevalence of warm weather in various regions.
The Kingdom is expected to begin being affected by the extension of the Red Sea depression on Thursday, with the maximum temperature reaching above the mid-twenties Celsius in many Jordanian cities and villages, while approaching the thirty-degree Celsius mark in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba regions.
On Friday and Saturday, the Kingdom will be increasingly affected by the extension of the Red Sea trough, with the flow of air currents warmer than usual for this time of year, leading to a further rise in temperatures, becoming several degrees Celsius higher than their usual averages.
Maximum temperatures are approaching the high twenties Celsius in various Jordanian cities, including several neighborhoods of the capital Amman, while they exceed the mid-thirties Celsius in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, where the weather is hot, while it is warm over the high mountain heights.
During the night, minimum temperatures will rise compared to the current days, resulting in less cold weather across the Kingdom, with the continued need to wear warm clothes during the late night and early morning hours.
In conjunction with the extension of the Red Sea depression, there are chances of thunderstorms forming at the end of the week in the far eastern desert regions, which may be accompanied by thundershowers of rain, especially in the eastern Mafraq areas and the Jordanian-Iraqi border regions.
We will provide you with more details as the expected timeframe approaches, and God knows best.
