Arab Weather - The first heat wave of this summer is set to begin affecting the Kingdom's atmosphere today, as the country is affected by a hot to extremely hot air mass, which will significantly raise temperatures to become 7-9 degrees Celsius higher than their general average, exceeding the 40-degree mark in neighborhoods of the capital, Amman , especially its eastern parts.
This air mass is expected to have a scorching effect on the Jordan Valley, particularly the central and northern regions, including the Dead Sea, as well as Aqaba Governorate and the eastern parts of the Kingdom. Maximum temperatures are expected to exceed 45 degrees Celsius, and it's likely they will reach 50 degrees Celsius in some areas of the Jordan Valley next week, especially the central Jordan Valley.
