Arab Weather - Meteorologists at the Arab Weather Center said that weather maps indicate a change in the nature of weather systems by the end of this week, which will lead to the Kingdom being affected by the first hot air masses of August, and as a result, the Kingdom will bid farewell to its normal summer weather, God willing.
In detail, no significant change is expected in the weather and temperatures in the coming days and until Tuesday, as the normal summer weather will remain in the highlands during the coming days, with maximum temperatures in the capital, Amman, and the mountain cities between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius. In contrast, hot to very hot weather will prevail in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, in addition to the eastern Badia regions.
During the night hours, the weather is pleasant and refreshing in most areas, especially in the highlands and plains, with minimum temperatures ranging between 18 and 22 degrees Celsius, making the weather ideal for outdoor activities and sitting outdoors during the evening and night.
Winds will be moderate northwesterly, becoming active in some afternoon periods, especially in desert areas. They may cause local dust storms, requiring caution when driving in these areas.
Starting Wednesday, the Kingdom will bid farewell to its usual summer weather as a hot air mass from the Arabian Peninsula approaches. Temperatures will rise, reaching 2 degrees Celsius above average. The weather will be relatively hot across most regions, and hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Over the weekend, starting Thursday, the Kingdom is expected to be affected by a hot air mass coming from the Arabian Peninsula. This influence will intensify on Friday and Saturday, leading to a spike in temperatures that will exceed their expected levels by approximately 5-7 degrees Celsius.
The weather is expected to be hot in most areas, and extremely hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Minimum temperatures will rise, and the weather will be warmer than usual at night, but will moderate during the late night hours and dawn, God willing, especially in the mountainous highlands.
And God knows best.
