Jordan: The Ministry of Local Administration declares a state of emergency, starting Saturday

Weather of Arabia - The Ministry of Local Administration declared a state of emergency starting tomorrow, Saturday, and issued a circular to municipalities and joint service councils regarding the exceptional weather conditions that will affect the Kingdom

And based on the report of the Meteorological Department, which indicates the possibility of the Kingdom being exposed to a strong heat wave, starting from tomorrow, Saturday, until next Monday, and for the purposes of dealing with exceptional weather conditions and with the aim of maintaining public safety, the request of the Secretary-General of the Ministry for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Nidal Abu Orabi Al-Adwan (Chairman The main emergency room in the Ministry) of the municipalities and joint service councils work on the following:

1. Stopping the working hours of the homeland workers and field cadres, starting from ten in the morning until five in the evening, during these days
2. Ensure the readiness of the necessary mechanisms to deal with any emergency that may result from the hot weather
3. Ensure that flammable materials are not exposed to direct sunlight while taking the necessary public safety measures to avoid any accidents during the heat wave.
4. Protect mechanisms, vehicles and sensitive devices from exposure to direct sunlight
5. Coordinating with the concerned authorities and providing the necessary support when needed
