Jordan: Winter weather visits the Kingdom during Ramadan (a cold week and multiple chances of rain)

Arab Weather - The weather maps in Arab Weather indicate a major change in the shape of weather systems in the region this week, as a strong high pressure system is dominating important areas of western Europe, which opens the way for cold air masses to reach the eastern Mediterranean basin, including Jordan, and consequently cold weather will prevail during most of this week, coinciding with the availability of opportunities for rainfall at several times, especially in the northern regions of the Kingdom.

Sunday : A noticeable drop in temperatures, cold weather in the morning with fog forming in some mountainous areas and parts of the desert and eastern plains, while the weather becomes relatively cold for the rest of the day with the appearance of clouds, and a chance of scattered showers in some northern areas.

Monday : The Kingdom will be affected by a first-degree (lowest) low-pressure system, especially during the late afternoon and night hours. Cold weather, increasing cloud cover, and intermittent showers in the northern regions, which may be locally heavy, will later extend towards parts of the central region. The rain will extend to the southern mountains during the night.

Tuesday : The weather will be cold and partly to mostly cloudy, with scattered rain chances remaining from time to time in various regions. The winds will be moderate northwesterly, with active gusts during the afternoon hours, and will be dust-raising in the desert areas and eastern plains.

Wednesday : The weather will be cold and partly to mostly cloudy, with a chance of scattered showers, especially in the north of the Kingdom.

Thursday : Temperatures will drop and the weather will become noticeably colder, with increased chances of rainfall in many northern and central regions and parts of the southern and eastern regions.
