Arab Weather - Sinan Khalaf - Weather experts at the "Arab Weather Regional Center" are following the latest developments and updates of the deep air depression, accompanied by a very cold air mass of polar origin, which is currently concentrated in Italy, bringing with it heavy snow to many Western European countries, and heavy rains and strong winds to some countries in North Africa.
The latest satellite images operated by "Arab Weather" show that the northern parts of Algeria and Tunisia are affected by the rush of large amounts of clouds accompanying the weather system towards the northern cities in Tunisia and Algeria, accompanied by heavy rain showers at times. Various regions are also witnessing a sharp and noticeable drop in temperatures, as a result of the infiltration of polar winds towards the region, which increases the chance of snowfall on some high mountain heights in northern Algeria.
In contrast, the various regions of Libya will remain far from the direct effects of the low pressure system centered over Italy in terms of rainfall, but the northwestern parts of the country will be affected by active westerly winds with occasional strong gusts, stirring up dust and dirt in Tripoli and other coastal cities, to gradually recede during the night hours, and God knows best.
