The National Center for Meteorology issued weather warnings for several regions, including Riyadh, the Eastern Province, and Makkah, warning of a strong heat wave that will raise temperatures to levels approaching 50 degrees Celsius, and rain accompanied by lightning and thunder, along with active winds that will stir up dust and sand and a possible decrease in horizontal visibility.
These warnings will continue until 9:00 PM on Sunday, June 14, 2026, with varying levels of warning between orange and yellow depending on the severity of the weather conditions in each region.
