Arab Weather - The Civil Aviation Authority in the Sultanate of Oman issued its report No. (2) today, Wednesday, October 22, 2025 AD, regarding the weather conditions in the Arabian Sea, as the latest satellite images and analyses of the National Center for Early Warning of Multiple Hazards indicate the centering of a tropical depression south of the Arabian Sea at a longitude of 68.2° east and a latitude of 8.8° north, with wind speeds around the center estimated at between 38 and 46 km/hour.
The depression is expected to continue moving north to northwest over the next two days. There will be no direct impact on the Sultanate of Oman. Seas are expected to be calm to moderate along the Arabian Sea coast, with maximum wave heights ranging from one to two meters. Specialists at the National Multi-Hazard Early Warning Center are monitoring the latest developments around the clock, and everyone is urged to follow weather bulletins and official reports issued by the Authority.
