Public holiday on April 30th to mark Labor Day

Arab Weather - In celebration of International Workers' Day, which falls on May 1st, Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan decided in an official statement issued today to suspend work at ministries, official departments, public institutions and bodies, official universities, municipalities, joint services councils, the Greater Amman Municipality, and companies wholly owned by the government, on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
