Riyadh: Temperatures reach the mid-twenties Celsius in the heart of winter

Arab Weather – The latest outputs of computer simulation models in Arab Weather indicate that the central and western part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be affected by an air mass that is warmer than usual temporarily, during Saturday and Sunday.

The peak in temperatures will be on Sunday, when temperatures in the capital, Riyadh, are expected to rise to the mid-twenties Celsius, which are higher than normal for this time of year.

In parts of the western region, temperatures are expected to be higher, reaching the late twenties and possibly the early thirties Celsius, and may even touch the mid-thirties Celsius in some inland areas.

During daylight hours, the weather is:

Warmer in western regions
Moderate in Riyadh and the central region

However, despite the noticeable rise during the day, the weather remains cold during the night hours, especially in Riyadh and the interior regions, with clear temperature differences between day and night that may exceed 10 to 11 degrees Celsius.

It is advisable to take these temperature differences into account, especially during the night and early morning hours, which call for wearing warm clothes.
