Saudi Arabia - 2:35 PM | Unstable weather and thunderstorms affect parts of Jizan, Asir, Al-Baha, and the highlands south of Taif

The latest satellite images we received indicate the proliferation of cumulus thunderclouds with rain falling over several areas of southwestern and western Saudi Arabia.

The rain will be heavy at intervals, accompanied by lightning, thunder, and sometimes hail. These areas are Jazan, Al-Raith, Abha, Asir, Al-Baha, and the highlands of southern Taif.

With expectations of continued chances of thunderstorm rain in these areas for the coming hours, one warns of the formation of torrents and the flow of valleys in these areas.
