Arab Weather - The latest weather data analyzed by the Arab Weather Regional Center shows clear indications of an increasing likelihood of locally unstable weather conditions over parts of the southwest of the Kingdom, particularly in the highlands of Jazan and Asir, starting Thursday and throughout the weekend.

In detail, God willing, weather conditions are expected to improve during the afternoon and evening hours, with the development of thunderstorm-like cumulus clouds over mountainous areas and foothills facing humid winds. This will lead to scattered showers of rain, which may be heavy at times, accompanied by active downward winds and hail in some limited areas.

This weather condition is caused by the continued flow of moist air currents in the middle and upper layers of the atmosphere, in addition to the influence of local factors such as temperature differences and mountainous terrain, which stimulate the formation of convective clouds during the afternoon and evening.
